At a networking luncheon today I learnt that HMRC has 2000 additional inspectors, who were described as being highly commercial, so we all need to be reflective of good housekeeping as we hear that they are targeting cash rich corporates who have the ability to pay if they are found to have transgressed.

I also learnt that many of us may be already carrying insurance cover against the inevitable disruption that an investigation may involve and we would encourage all business owners to check out their own circumstances.
