Acorn Recruitment (South West) Limited was developed as an arm’s length operation for a group of food Companies ultimately controlled by the current Managing Director some 10 years ago.

The motivation was to provide a better class of worker than was typically available through traditional High Street  recruitment agencies or government agencies such as Jobsite.

Initially this lead to recruitment from Southern Europe for the Group’s own use but in 2005 the introduction of the 10 countries from Eastern Europe allowed the business to expand throughout the South West of England.

Over time Acorn has become a broadly based recruitment provider in the region and also benefits from being able to call on specialist group resources to provide teams of workers locally and overseas.

Chris Slay the MD, has lived in the West Country since the early 70’s and has wide business experience across a whole range of business and regards clients as long term business partners and is more than willing to invest the time to get to know your business needs.
